Julie Houck, a Contemporary Landscape Artist residing in both Maui and Maine, transitioned from a professional location photographer to a full-time fine art painter. Houck works in oils and encaustics and her classical atelier training honed her technique of painting in numerous transparent layers in order to recreate the subtle interplay of light in her work. "Infinity," a replicated canvas available exclusively at Revelation, is framed in heavy brushed white oak with a walnut ceruse finish.
